8 reasons why 2017 is going to be a TERRIBLE year for militant atheists

Recently, I published the article 7 alarming trends for the atheist movement. Militant atheists surrender now!

Are there now 8 reasons why 2017 is going to be a TERRIBLE year for militant atheists? Are militant atheists behind the proverbial eight ball?  if so, what addition thing is expected to occur in 2017 which will hamper the spreading of atheism in the world?

On July 24, 2013, CNS News reported:
Atheism is in decline worldwide, with the number of atheists falling from 4.5% of the world’s population in 1970 to 2.0% in 2010 and projected to drop to 1.8% by 2020, according to a new report by the Center for the Study of Global Christianity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (GCTS) in South Hamilton, Mass."

Data compiled by the Center for the Study of Global Christianity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (GCTS):
Given the information in the resources directly above, the Center for the Study of Global Christianity (CSGC) at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, expects the global atheist population to shrink in its total number of individuals in 2017.

If CSGC is correct, then not only is the global market share of atheism going downward, but now the actual number of atheists in the world is going down as well.  Specifically, CSGC is projecting that from the mid-point of 2016 to the midpoint of 2017, the total number of atheists in the world is going to go from 138,101,000 individuals to 137,041,000 individuals.  That is a net loss of 60,000 atheists in the world during this period.  That means that if CSGC's projection is correct, then on average during this period, there will be 164,38 less atheists in the world per day.

2.  Japan has the second largest atheist population in the world.

A news article entitled Japan tops list of countries with shrinking population projection, but no one’s surprised indicates:

As you may have heard, the Japanese population has taken a turn for the older…and the smaller. In fact, it has even topped a list of five countries facing “extinction” according to Sputnik Japan. The statistics have got a lot of people talking online, and we’re here to share all the tongue-wagging with you!

The Sputnik article references a study by the Population Reference Bureau (PRB) which lists five countries that are expected to see massive decreases in population over the next 35 years. According to the article, Japan’s population is projected to decrease by 25 percent from its current population of 126,981,000 to 95,152,000. The PRB also predicts that the portion of the population aged 65 or older will also make up a full 23 percent of the entire population.

3. France is a country with one of the largest atheist populations.

The newly revised article  Another torpedo is headed towards the S.S. Global Atheism. Au revoir atheist movement  paints an even bleaker future for French atheism than the original article.

4. On July 24, 2013, CNS News indicated:
